Alarm Statuses and Severities

Alarms in the system are classified into different statuses based on their current stage, and different severities based on their urgency. This helps your team prioritize easily.

Alarm Statuses

  • ACTIVE

    The rule has been triggered and no action has been taken yet; an ongoing alarm.

  • ACKNOWLEDGED

    The alarm has been seen and acknowledged by an operator who is working on it.

  • RESOLVED

    The issue has been fixed and the alarm condition has returned to normal.

Severities

  • Critical
  • Major
  • Minor
  • Warning
  • Info

Tip: Autonomous Actions & Remote Management

With SolarTools, you don't just receive notifications. You can also define autonomous action rules that will automatically send a command to a device (e.g., shut down the inverter or turn on the generator) when an alarm is triggered.
