SolarTools Gateway: Every Field Device on the Platform with One Box

The Gateway Standard Kit reads your Modbus devices, keeps data when the link drops, and is configured and updated remotely from the portal.

SolarTools Gateway: Every Field Device on the Platform with One Box

The hardest part of an energy monitoring project is getting data reliably from field devices. The SolarTools Gateway Standard Kit (STG-100) solves it in one box: it reads meter, analyzer, inverter and PLC data and sends it securely to the platform.

Field connectivity

2x RS485, CAN-bus and GPIO. Connects directly to Modbus RTU/TCP devices.

No data loss

If the internet drops, data is stored on the device and sent in order later.

Remote management

Configuration is deployed from the portal in one command. Software updates OTA.

Templates

Turn device profiles into templates and apply them to many gateways in one click.

How it works

Get started in three steps

  1. 1

    Mount on DIN rail

Install in the panel with a 7–36 V DC supply.

  2. 2

    Connect devices

Wire meters and analyzers to RS485; connect to the internet via Ethernet or 4G.

  3. 3

    Configure from the portal

Prepare the register map in the portal and send it to the gateway remotely.

Who is it for?

Who benefits most?

Factories

Monitoring energy per line and machine.

Solar plants

Collecting inverter and meter data in one place.

Industrial zones and multi-site

Bringing scattered meters together centrally.

System integrators

Looking for fast, standard field connectivity.

FAQ

Common questions

Which protocols does the gateway support?

Modbus RTU/TCP and CAN in the field. On the platform side it extends with MQTT, OPC UA and other connectors.

Is data lost if the internet drops?

No. Data is written to the device's storage first and sent in order when the connection returns.

Can I use my own hardware?

Yes. The gateway software can also run on an industrial PC, Raspberry Pi or an Ubuntu/Debian server.
